MILITARY & VETERAN CAREERS
Your experience has a purpose here.
Bring your military skills, leadership, and adaptability to the Kaiser Krew.

Discipline. Accountability. Teamwork. At Kaiser Transport, these are part of the work every day. Securing & moving complex loads takes precision, sound judgment, and people who keep their word. When plans change by the minute, the ability to adapt and keep safety in focus matters.
Military experience is part of our team
13 of our 38 current drivers have served in the military—more than one in three. Military experience also extends across our terminals: 9 of our 36 terminal employees have military backgrounds, including two military retirees. When you join Kaiser, you work alongside people who understand military service and the experience you bring.
Our CEO and recruiter are retired military. Our Driver Trainer, two dispatchers, S&C Department Manager, Employee Services Department Manager, and Wisconsin Terminal Supervisor also have military backgrounds. That experience reaches from your first recruiting conversation through training, daily operations, and employee support.

Put your military driving experience to work
Our professional drivers move machinery and equipment across the contiguous United States and Canada through our open-deck Trailer Space Sharing model. We credit military driving experience when evaluating driver candidates. Talk with our recruiting team about your background and how it aligns with our current driving qualifications.
Kaiser does not operate a CDL school for applicants who do not hold a CDL. Review our driving requirements and discuss your qualifications with recruiting.

Your next role may be beyond the cab
Military experience has value throughout our operation. We recognize leadership, accountability, and transferable skills when evaluating candidates for non-driving roles. We also provide training to help employees develop the skills needed for those positions. Tell us what you did in the military, what you learned, and where you want to go next.
Transition through DoD SkillBridge
Kaiser Transport participates in the DoD SkillBridge program. Service members preparing to transition to civilian careers can contact our recruiting team to discuss Kaiser’s SkillBridge opportunities, current availability, and next steps.

Support that continues during service
We respect the ongoing responsibilities of employees who serve. Time spent on Reserve deployment continues to count toward tenure at Kaiser.
